Queen Bee Early Childhood Center---Together We Can!
A Message From Your Principal, Ms.Price
Each month families will receive a newsletter from the Queen Bee Early Childhood Center. This newsletter will have important information about what your child is doing here at school. It will also contain important dates and reminders about happenings here at school. Please be on the lookout for the monthly newsletter!
PARKING LOT SAFETY
RULES TO FOLLOW IN THE PARKING LOT
-NEVER walk through the bus lane
-ALWAYS use the sidewalk when dropping off and picking up your student
-Do not park in the parking lot behind the playground
-Do not park in the strip mall next to the school. You will get towed!
SCHOOL COMMUNICATION
COMMUNICATION IS KEY
Every family should have access to Learning Genie, the schoolwide app that is used by all of our staff. If you do not have access to this already please check with your students teacher to get connected!
Many important communications will come through email! Please be sure that the office has the most up to date email on file!
WALK TO SCHOOL DAY
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025 Queen Bee Early Childhood Center will participate in National Walk To School Day! Walk to School Day began in 1997 as an event aimed at building awareness for the need for walkable communities!
Families who would like to participate will enter through door 2. They will be able to do a small craft with their child and play in the gym before school starts! At the designated arrival time, families will walk outside to take their student to door 14 for arrival. Please see the times below for Walk To School Day!

MEET OUR NEW QUEEN BEE SOCIAL WORKER - Ms.Grace
We are so excited to welcome our new social worker, Ms. Grace to the Queen Bee Early Childhood Center! Ms. Grace will be here on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
There are many things that Ms. Grace can do and help with. She works with students individually or in groups, consults with teachers and staff, connects families with community resources and handles crisis. Here at the Queen Bee Early Childhood Center, most services take place in the classroom.
You might want to reach out to Ms. Grace if:
- You have concerns about your child's behavior
- Your family needs additional community support
- You have concerns about how your child interacts with others
- Your family is experiencing changes or challenges that are affecting your child
Please reach out at any time.
There is nothing too small to bring up.

QBEF BACK TO SCHOOL BASH
JOIN US ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 20th FOR OUR ANNUAL BACK TO SCHOOL BASH!
Where: Americana School
When: 1:00-3:00 pm
Please join us for free books, raffles, popcorn, games & photo booth fun! Stop by to visit the Glendale Heights police dog, Benjamin and so much more!
There will be nachos & Kona Ice for purchase.
All students must be accompanied by an adult.

At Queen Bee student safety is our number one priority! When you are coming into the school building you must have a photo ID and check in at the office!
It is greatly appreciated if you have the original document with you rather than an electronic copy!
